Announcing- Women Who Want More- The Leadership Edition

First, when it comes to leadership, every one of us is a leader in our lives. Even if we don’t have a title at work- we lead in our families, we lead in our communities, and most importantly, we lead with ourselves. My work with clients over the years has shown me that cultivating our own leadership can provide a platform to create more of everything that we want.

So, whether or not you manage a team in your work, are you steadfast in your leadership, both inside and outside of your home? Do you confidently use your voice to advocate for yourself and others? Do you regularly speak your truth? Are you taking leadership within yourself to create what you want rather than waiting for permission or for some nebulous time when everyone else’s needs are finally met?

If you’re like most of the women I’ve met, your answers to these questions are a resounding “No.”

Is there a part of you inside that is screaming- “I want my voice to be heard, and I want MORE”?

I hear you. I’ve spent most of my life feeling dissatisfied- both by denying myself things I really wanted and also by not speaking up for myself in large and small ways. Even though I know I am a natural-born leader, I’ve witnessed myself conceding the leadership role to others over and over again.

I see this same scenario play out in my individual clients all the time. As women in our society, many of us were trained to believe that we can’t want more- that we should smile and be satisfied with whatever comes our way. We’re also taught not to make waves. We’re taught to stifle our desires and our leadership to make things easier for others.

If this sounds like you, tell me- how’s that working for you? How much longer will you wait to make yourself a priority? How much longer will you watch others step into the confidence and leadership that you desire for yourself?

What might happen if you stop putting your life on hold and not only allow yourself to admit what you truly, deeply want but also to see yourself as a powerful leader capable of creating all of it?

The truth? ANYTHING can happen.

In the last three years, clients in my coaching programs have created new jobs, significant salary and revenue increases, reinvigorated relationships, confidence, unbridled joy, connections that will last a lifetime, and an unwavering sense of self. In short, women come out of these groups knowing who they are and what they want.
